WHY WE LOVE IT:
Black fruits, tobacco, cedar, cured meats, awash with a velvety smooth seductive and slippery mouthfeel. SO incredibly delicious.
From the winery: Grown in Young, in the Hilltops region of New South Wales, our Nebbiolo is from the Freeman Family Vineyard to the South of the township of Young, highlighing our love of lighter Nebbiolos, inspired from winemakers from Valtellina, Italy. A cooler and growing season lengthened the ripening time allowed for favourable varietal development while retaining good natural acidity.
Fermented together as 50% whole bunch and 50% destemmed fruit. As a dry red we like to highlight through the marriage of the whole bunch of characters and destemmed characters a style that is light with notes of rose petals, cinnamon and cherries but still concentrated and intense.
Only 80 cases lovingly made.
